About the company

## Part of Primary Ballet Academy

The 2026–2027 season marks the inaugural year of Heber Valley Ballet. The company grows out of [Primary Ballet Academy](https://primaryballet.com/), a ballet school on Main Street in Heber, Utah, directed by Erin Malan (MFA in Ballet Teaching & Choreography).

Primary Ballet focuses on performance rather than team competitions. Heber Valley Ballet takes that further, with rehearsals outside regular class time, guest choreographers, and roles in full-length story ballets.
